Understanding Diana's Kit

Diana's passive is the engine of her damage. Every third auto deals AoE damage and grants bonus attack speed. In lane this determines your trade patterns — you want to land that third auto after an ability.

A curved skillshot that applies Moonlight. If it hits, your next E becomes a free reset. Missing Q is the single biggest mistake new Diana players make — everything depends on it connecting.

E dashes to a Moonlit target and consumes the debuff. If you hit Q first, the cast after the dash doesn't consume Moonlight — giving you a second gap-close. This is the core of Diana's all-in pattern.
