Zed will look to poke you with Q (Razor Shuriken) early. Stay behind minions to block it. You win extended trades at level 3 once you have Q+W+E. Do not fight him when his Living Shadow is up. Shove the wave and roam; Zed needs kills to come online.

Level 3 all-in is your strongest window before he gets Ultimate. Post-6 you can bait his ult by stepping up aggressively, then Moonfall when he reappears. With Lich Bane, one full rotation kills him through his Death Mark delay.

Zhonya's Hourglass is mandatory — activating it during his ult negates the Death Mark. Rush it after Shadowflame. Banshee's is a flex pick if he's ahead.
