Malzahar's Passive (Void Shift) gives him a spell shield every few seconds, blocking your Q and stopping your combo. Auto-attack to burn the shield before engaging. His voidlings push the wave hard — focus on farming.

Pop his passive shield with an auto, then immediately W+Q+E+R. He is immobile and his ult channels. Pre-6 trades are fine after popping his shield.

Shadowflame, Rabadon's, and Void Staff are your core. Mercury's Treads reduce suppression duration slightly.
